Branding & Packaging of Banana Bread Lovers

As a young business looking to get established, Banana Bread Lovers reached out to to me to establish their brand in the artisan baking market. With their top selling products already in high demand, they wanted to create a premium and luxirous experience for their customers.

I worked directly with the business owners to understand their business and product vision. I distilled their intentions into a brand with it's first application being product packaging. With their branding established and customer experience uplifted through product packgaging, BBL is ready to grow and continue making some of Sydney's best baked goods.


Branding

Creation of a monogram based logo

The elegant yet bold monogram provides the brand with a timeless aesthetic which is supported by it's simplistic word-mark. The two co-exist but also can be utilised in isolation to create for a dynamic branding experience more tailored to different situations and surfaces.

Luxurious food product packaging

Working closely with the manufacturing partner and the client's vision, I designed a series of packaging for BBL's product line. The design process resulted in a premium top lift box with double cardboard walls. A curved transparent plastic window was introduce to allow the product to take full attention. For additional decoration and elevating the unboxing experience, a embossed monogram sleeve was created. With the ability to expand upon flavours and variable details, BBL are able to adapt their modular packaging system to cater to their wide range of products.

Branding guidelines

The brand emphasises the deep rich colours of the baking process and delivers a refined yet somewhat playful colour palette. The strong typographic styling complements the monogram and allows for clear readability on a wide range of mediums, papers and screens.
